The Nose

What would you do if you woke up one morning and discovered that your nose was missing? A nose that strives for individuality and independence? The composer Dimitri Shostakovich skillfully highlights this absurd plot by Gogol through a patchwork of musical forms. Frank Fellmann does the accompaniment. The performance by Matthias Oldag took place in the Neue Oper Wien and the very simple but expressive stage was created in the workshops of Winter Artservice.
