The special atmosphere of an opera evening in a unique setting and a touching story of friendship and love, fate and death in the Parisian artistic milieu around the year 1830.
Manfred Waba designed a stage set, which offered a commanding presence and playfulness in detail. One of the key elements was the venue " Café Momus, " which also acted as a curtain. Behind this were three other levels, the "old Paris" with roof landscapes and a silhouette of impressive dimensions.
