A journey through time to the 1960s - the decade of unprecedented change. Exciting designs out of a transformative era of social, cultural, political and aesthetic upheaval.
The focus of the exposition is the presentation of furniture design. This surrounds fashion, television, radio and other everyday objects that embody the typical 60s lifestyle. Angular and curved forms can be seen not only in the exhibits, but also characterize the design of the whole exhibition. Thematically two cultural upheavals that shaped this decade are highlighted as focal points: the consumer revolution and the protest culture.
