Strings of Power

In the 16th century, tapestries served as a symbol of power and representation of wealth. Their luxurious appearance was enhanced by the use of valuable materials such as gold and silver threads, silk and wool.

Winter Artservice created ​​the substructure for these precious works in the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna. The simple wooden substructures allowed the luxurious fabrics in the rooms seem ideal. Lighted presentation boards and display cases provided information about the "strings of power."
